In a bout of boredom, I decided to go around to the various people I talk to with a question. I asked them all the same thing -- to write me a story involving a bunny and a bridge. I didn't tell them this, but the entire premise of the question was to determine their views on love. Essentially, the bridge represents your life, with the rabbit being your view on love. Needless to say, this bunny met with disaster quite a few times. Rather disconcerting.

So, do you want to spread the love? Or at least find out what other people *really* think of it? Go for it! Bother your friends for a story (the bunny and the bridge, of course) and record their responses. Then just send them in to me, and you'll officially be a part of the morbidly enlightening project we've started here. Make sure you don't let them know the significance of the bridge and bunny, though, it totally just kills it. Have fun!

Cecil's Story:

A cute bunny is taking a nice afternoon bounce and hops up to a bridge. The bridge itself seemed like it has been suspended above this chasm for quite a few years. It definitely has seen better days. The chasm itself isn't anymore inviting. Its jagged cliffs descend into a mysterious layer of stratus clouds which masks the source of a low rumbling at the bottom.

[Cecil, our favorite narrator, sticks head into the scene...] "I sure as hell wouldn't want to find out what's at the bottom of that place. So, uh, anyway... [He gets out of the scene.]

The bunny continues to approach the bridge and finds an old man dressed in druid's clothes apparently guarding the bridge. He demands, "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?"

The bunny just twitches it nose and sits there...

Confused, the old man continues, "Uh...okay. WHAT IS YOUR QUEST?"

The bunny continues to just sit there. It even tilted its head to its side.

Further befuddled, the old man asks his last question, "Alright...WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?"

The bunny barely squeaked something audible. The old kneels down and inquires, "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. What's your favorite color?"

"RED!" In a blur of white fur, the rabbit suddenly lands six feet behind the old man. The man seems to be still kneeling there -- motionless. A couple of seconds pass and suddenly his head topples from his shoulders. In pure Japanese anime-esque fashion, his neck spews forth a fountain of blood. Who knew the old man's body could contain more than 4 pints of blood? Shortly after the crimson equivalent of Old Faithful, his body collapses to the ground. The bunny proceeds on its merry way across the bridge.

[The audience finds Cecil sitting off to the side of the scene jotting down a note...] "Note to self: Do...not...ask...demon bunny...dumb questions. Got it."

THE END...Well, at least until King Arthur runs into the bunny later on...
